Oyo State Students to Enjoy free Internet Service; Oyo State Government has provided free internet service for the students in the state through the Oyo State Ministry of Education to keep the students engaged with school curricular activities during the lock-down period.
According to the post on the twitter handle of the Oyo State Ministry of Education stating that “The Hon. Commissioner for Education, Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye, making the disclosure today in Ibadan, declared that the Ministry of Education had secured the partnership of AIRTEL to provide free internet services to access the materials already uploaded on to Ministry website.”
“The Commissioner stated further that each student will have free internet up to 500MB per day courtesy of Airtel Nigeria throughout the period of the lock-down. The Commissioner advised the students to make good use of this gesture.”
This development will also help the private schools who have been taken their students through the internet learning to also encourage their teachers to use this opportunity adequately.
