NYSC Senate list is a list of students that have graduated from an higher institution and have been vetted to be mobilized for the mandatory one year National Youth Service program. Anyone who his/her name is not found on the senate list is automatically not eligible to serve.
Every graduate must check up their name on the Senate Academic List of their various institution, so as to ensure that they will be mobilized for the service year.
The NYSC Senate List is only meant for Nigerian trained graduate. The foreign trained graduate do not need to check their name on the Senate List before they can register. Check NYSC Registration Requirements for Foreign Trained Students.
To ensure that your name is on the matriculation list you must have done your final clearance in school (That means you must have been cleared of all bills and your results) and make sure your name is on the JAMB matriculation List
How to Check Your name on NYSC Senate List
The following steps below will guide you through on how to check your name on NYSC Senate List:
- Visit the NYSC Portal
- Select Your Institution
- Enter Your Matriculation Number
- Enter Your Surname
- Select your Date of Birth (Day, Month, Year). If the Date of birth is not clicking, do not worry.
- Click on the ‘Search‘ button to view your details.
If it is showing ‘Result not found‘. Kindly check your name on the JAMB Matriculation List and also visit your school Student Affairs Department to inform them.
