16 new cases of COVID-19 found in Nigeria the new cases were reported by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control by 9:30 pm on the 7th of April 2020. The breakdown of the 16 cases by states are: 10 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Delta and 1 in Katsina State.
As at 09:30 pm 7th April there are 254 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Fourty-four have been discharged with six deaths.
The total breakdown of the reported cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria by states is as follows: Lagos- 130, FCT- 50, Osun- 20, Oyo- 11, Edo- 11, Bauchi- 6, Akwa Ibom- 5, Kaduna- 5, Ogun- 4, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers-2, Benue- 1, Ondo- 1, Kwara- 2, Delta- 1, Katsina-1.
According the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), we have a total case of 254, while 44 has been discharged and 6 death has been recorded. we can say the current case of COVID-19 in Nigeria stands at 204.
The only way to stop the spread of the virus is to stay at home and follow the guidelines that is given by the NCDC.
